I Wonder How My Writing Feels Like to Others

Today I read someone’s blog post
and found a sentence that stayed in my mind.

It said that for some people,
even good weather can feel uncomfortable.

The moment I read that,
I could feel sadness behind the words.
Maybe it touched me more
because I have felt the same way before.

The writer might not have tried
to show their emotions directly.
But between the lines,
through the choice of words and the way the sentences moved,
I could feel what kind of mood they were in.

Writing carries emotions.

So I suddenly wondered
what my own writing feels like to others.

What kind of mood is inside my words?

Lately I’ve been thinking
that I want my writing to feel a little brighter.

Not in a forced way,
but at least in the same direction
that I want my life to go.

A little warmer,
a little lighter.

These days the weather feels like spring.

The sunlight is softer,
and the air feels different.

Maybe that’s why
my mind feels a little brighter too.

So today,
I decided to try to live
like the weather in spring.
