Tree trunk embroidery.
I stitched the outline using outline stitch,
then filled the inside with long and short stitch.
I used DMC 840 for the darker shade,
and 3863 for a slightly lighter tone.
I wasn’t sure if the two colors would work well together,
but I think they turned out better than I expected.
Next time, I want to try completely different colors,
maybe a mix of brown and white tones.
Tip:
Blend the colors slowly for a more natural look.
