Why I Write with ChatGPT (and Why It Sometimes Cuts My Words)

I write with ChatGPT.
I do most of the writing,
and then ChatGPT refines it.
It adds emojis, breaks paragraphs, and cleans up my sentences.

But sometimes,
even when I’ve written quite a lot,
it cuts out big chunks.

So I once asked,
“Why did you delete my writing?”
“Was it messy?”

And it said,
“The explanation was too long, so I trimmed it.”

My writing is usually short and concise.
Not really on purpose—
I tend to give short, direct answers,
so when I write, it just comes out that way.

But there are moments when it gets longer.
One of them is
when I want to add a little flair.

Especially when I want to emphasize something.
If it matters to me,
I want it to show.

But every time, somehow,
that exact part gets cut out.

And that makes me feel a little sad.
Like… maybe my “flair” wasn’t that great after all.
Like maybe what I meant didn’t really matter.

But sometimes,
I think I should just post it as it is—
even if it’s a bit overdone,
even if I ramble and emphasize too much.

Just as it is—
my writing, exactly as I wrote it.
